The Charmed Collection

I have always been a huge Charmed fan.  Every single day after school, i'd sit down to LivingTV at 4pm & watch my double helping of the show.  Except, when we moved house, bye bye Sky, bye bye LivingTV & bye bye Charmed! :-( it took a long long time to get over the loss (im being serious!) until a friend of mine, a year and a half later, informed me of a website where i could watch all the episodes i wished for free! At around the same time, i injured my lower back & was stuck on my sofa for days, so used my time effectively to re-watch season 1 :-)  Below is the result of my week with a painful back.

Shannen Doherty

Alyssa Milano

Holly M Combs

Heres a couple more from my backlog.......

This is my friend's little boy, & the drawing helped to raise money for a sponsored trek i did on Hadrian's Wall for Great Ormond Street.  I find babies actually easier to draw than adults...im not sure why...i think its because their features arent as distinguished yet.

Later, i was also asked to do a larger family portrait, involving the same baby, his cousin (also a baby) & their grandparents...

Ok technically, this one below is a painting, but i love it SO much & did have to draw it first in order to paint it!!! It formed part of my Art GCSE final exams.  Its hard to see from the picture, but in the eyes ive also stuck two tiny tiny shards of glass.  They really do add effect to it as it glints on the wall!

My Backlog

If you know me at all, you will know that i am OBSESSED by the X Factor. & also by Twitter. Combined together, what do you get? Dannii Minogue. She is a prolific Tweeter herself, & when looking for people to draw last year, she popped into my head. She was quite hard to capture as she is so doll like, but she was luckily pleased with the result & even requested that i send it to her.

Having drawn Dannii & getting a good response in general, i decided it might be a nice idea to do the full set.  Ive met Simon Cowell & have LOVED him ever since he appeared on our screens, so he was who i focused on next.  He is one of the drawings i am most proud of.

Cheryl was next on my list.  I was actually really excited to draw Cheryl, because not only have i been a fan of hers since the Popstars days, her popularity last year EXPLODED completely, so i knew that if i could please her fans with my drawing, i had done an ok job!

Last but by NOOO means least, the lovely Louis Walsh.  (He wears pjamas) He's the only judge i havent met so far, but i absolutely ADORE him! Of all my judge drawings, he is definately my favourite.  He looks SO jolly!

Continuing with the theme of the X Factor, i had an attempt at drawing JLS!  It didnt turn out as well as i'd hoped actually...but i drew it to order for somebody on Twitter as she wanted something special to give her friend for her birthday!  I'm glad to report that both of them loved the drawing despite my worry over odd i'd made them look! haaaa

The Spice Girls formed a massive part of my childhood, so when i started experimenting with doing pencil drawings of people, they were first on my list.  I draw the full set when they made their comeback, but have since moved house & seem to have lost my Scary Spice fifth of the collection!!

This drawing is very special to many people.   The little girl is called Layla Grace, and a friend of mine on Twitter asked me to draw it as a dedication really.  Layla suffered from cancer & sadly passed away earlier this year.  I feel proud & priveledged to have been asked to draw such a brave child.

Everyone, meet my friend Katie!  She has the most incredible eyes! ---------------------->

&
<-----------THIS is Katies little puppy dog!

Continuing the theme of, yet again, Dannii Minogue, i drew this piccy of Team Minogue 2009 with Lucie Jones, Rachel Adadeji & Stacey Soloman to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Having met Kris Smith (Dannii's partner) & later on Dannii herself, its clear for all to see how loved up they both are. When Dannii discovered she was pregnant with her baby boy Ethan, i decided to draw them both as a celebration for them really. Dannii is now the proud owner of this drawing & even kindly posted a photo of it on her twitter page for all to see!

This is a family portrait of the Ward children!  My good friend Jodie is on the right of this picture, and i agree to draw it for her as a present to her parents! I was really pleased with how it came out, so much in fact that it was REALLY hard to give this one away! But i believe Mummy Ward liked it!

Meet Jack & Lauren, my little brother & his girlfriend! ---------->

Thats all for now folks! I have a few more to upload, so watch this space!
Tarrah!

well welcome :-)

Hello thereeee! Welcome to Clairey Eddy Drawing!  Im Claire. A little bit about me to start off with, just to make you comfortable! Im a law student, lived in London my entire life, and have always loved to draw.  I took art at GCSE as an outlet, but never went any further with it as i pursued different paths. My nanna is a painter and has always encouraged my creative side, but nowadays i only really get time to draw when i need to chill out and relax.  I'll post the current pictures ive done with some info about each, and will update (im hoping!) when i get to complete more in the furture :-)

Enjoy & thanks for visiting! xx
